Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star in Darren Aronofksy-Produced Revenge Drama, '478'
With a return as the T-800 in Terminator Genisys coming next week, Arnold Schwarzenegger is lining up new roles that probably won't involve apocalyptic futures and killer cyborgs. He's set to star in 478, a revenge drama produced by Black Swan and The Wrestler's Darren Aronofsky.
While this is indeed a revenge movie, the script by Javier Gullon (Enemy) is said to be more dramatic and dark, similar to Arnold's recent zombie film, Maggie. In 478 he plays a husband and father whose family is killed in a plane crash caused by an air traffic controller's screw-up. The controller is arrested and placed in protective custody, but Arnold's character can't let it go and seeks payback.
So another shot for Arnold to show his acting chops. No word on whether Aronofsky would slide over into the director's chair but this sounds like the kind of story he'd take an interest in. Filming on 478 begins this fall. Arnold is also set to return to his barbarian roots in The Legend of Conan. [Deadline]
