David Tennant Takes a Bite Out of 'Chew'; Aaron Paul to Star in 'Come and Find Me'

David Tennant (Doctor Who) will lend his voice to the animated adaptation of Chew, the hit comic book series from John Layman and Rob Guillory. Tennant joins the previously-cast Felicia Day (The Guild) and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) in the story about detective Tony Chu, who has the ability to gain psychic impressions from anything he eats, from food to corpses. Tennant, who is sadly replacing the late Robin Williams, will voice Mason Savoy, who is Tony's first partner with similar abilities. Jeff Krelitz is directing, and it's still unclear if the film will hit theaters or go straight to home release. Next up for Tennant is another comic book role as he'll be playing Killgrave the Purple Man in Marvel's AKA Jessica Jones series. [THR]

Aaron Paul will star in Come and Find Me, to be written and directed by Joss Whedon's brother, Zack. Whedon's screenplay appeared on the 2012 Black List, and centers on David (Paul) who must track down his missing girlfriend after he realizes she’s not who she was pretending to be. Whedon has mostly worked in television but was a co-writer on Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog alongside his brothers. Filming begins next month. [Deadline]
