X-Men fans have always been an extremely devoted bunch. Speaking as one I can fully attest to that. We've supported Marvel's merry mutants through some really terrible times (like now), but since 2000 we've largely been rewarded with solid big screen features. And to show just how much X-Men fans love these characters, there has been an incredible amount of buzz about the "Rogue Cut" of last year's X-Men: Days of Future Past. The extended Blu-Ray version of Bryan Singer's hit film will be screened in multiple venues at San Diego Comic-Con next month, and now today brings a new clip featuring the return of Anna Paquin's Rogue.
Essentially, this is the same movie only with about ten or fifteen additional minutes focusing on Rogue. The clip shows Rogue being rescued by Iceman (Shawn Ashmore) and an older Magneto (Ian McKellen), a scene which we don't get in the theatrical cut. It also includes footage we have already seen involving a young Magneto (Michael Fassbender) jackin' his helmet back. Don't they know better than to steal from the Master of Magnetism™?
