Zack Snyder's Man of Steel ended on a cataclysmic note, with Superman and General Zod engaged in a battle that leveled cities and undoubtedly killed thousands. That finale has been hotly debated ever since, but one thing Snyder and screenwriter David Goyer made clear was that the ramifications of that fight would be felt.
Recent rumors began to shed some light on the connection between Man of Steel and next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but it wasn't until the amazing new trailer that we saw it for ourselves. That came in a scene in which Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) watches in horror as Zod's eyebeams tear apart one of his buildings, killing everyone inside. A new video shows the related scenes from both movies, and the editing is absolutely flawless. Talk about attention to detail.
