As expected, Marvel pulled out all the stops at Disney's D23 Expo, revealing the first footage from Captain America: Civil War, along with some concept art for Doctor Strange. Chances are the Captain America footage won't be released for a few months, if their handling of Captain America: The Winter Soldier is any indication. As for the Doctor Strange art, that could drop at any time now that production is gearing up to begin shortly.
For now, fans will have to settle for highlights from Marvel's presentation. They don't include any footage from the movies, of course, but you do get to see Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbach providing the panel's introduction. Plus, 'Civil War' stars Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie made their way on to the stage to thunderous applause from the crowd.
As for actual news, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tilda Swinton have been confirmed for Scott Derrickson's Doctor Strange as Baron Mordo and the Ancient One, respectively.
