Laura Linney has joined Tom Hanks in Sully, Clint Eastwood's biopic on Captain "Sully" Sullenberger. She'll play the wife of the heroic pilot who in 2009 managed to save the lives of all the passengers aboard US Airways Flight 1549 after it lost power. The event came to be known as the "Miracle on the Hudson". Aaron Eckhart co-stars as Sully's co-pilot. Linney has worked with Eastwood twice before on Absolute Power and Mystic River.
According to The Tracking Board, Zac Efron is set to headline The Velocity of Money, described as Wall Street meets Cocktail. Details on this one remain hidden but the search is on for a director and a writer to give the film a rewrite. Next up for Efron is the DJ drama, We Are Your Friends.
