Quick, who gave the best performance as The Joker ever? While many will likely say Heath Ledger, many others would say it was Mark Hamill in the Batman animated series, or maybe even Jack Nicholson. It's too soon to judge Jared Leto's version for the Suicide Squad movie (haters are already pouncing), but now you can add another interpretation of the Bat-villain into the discussion.
Zach Galifianakis will voice The Joker in the Lego Batman movie, a spinoff starring the self-involved Batman voiced by the returning Will Arnett in The Lego Movie. Michael Cera will be voicing Robin, and the film will be directed by Chris McKay (who worked on The Lego Movie as well) with a script by Dark Shadows' Seth Grahame-Smith.
Lego Batman opens February 10th 2017, and don't be surprised if it leads to some kind of connected Lego DC Universe. [THR]
