There weren't enough fans of NBC's Constantine series to keep it on the air for long, but fans of the detective magician won't have to wait long for him to reappear. A few weeks ago a story surfaced that star Matt Ryan could be playing John Constantine in the next season of CW's Arrow, and now it has been confirmed.
It was revealed today at the CW's TCA presentation that Ryan will be bringing Constantine to Starling City for a single episode titled "Haunted", and here's the episode description:
John Constantine is a weather worn exorcist and expert on the supernatural and the occult. He is a detective, magician, and a hunter of demons, and will provide critical support to Oliver when arrows aren’t enough.
The episode doesn't have an air date yet, but when it happens the DC Comics TV universe will be more connected than ever. If things work out don't be surprised if petitions start going around for Constantine to get another series, or perhaps to join DC's Legends of Tomorrow.
The fourth season of Arrow debuts on October 7th.
