New Red Band Trailer for 'Sleeping with Other People' Starring Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie

It's hard enough for men and women to just be friends in the best of circumstances, but surely it's even more difficult when sex addiction is thrown into the mix. That's the basic premise of Leslye Headland's raunchy new comedy, Sleeping with Other People, which debuted at Sundance earlier this year with strong reviews for stars Alison Brie and Jason Sudeikis.

A new NSFW trailer for the film has been released, giving a taste of the naughty humor that will be on display. Sudeikis and Brie play a pair of former flames, both sex addicts, who agree to just be friends and help one another through their mutual hang-ups. Guess how that goes? Here's the synopsis:

Years after impulsively losing their virginity to each other in college, Lainey (Alison Brie) and Jake (Jason Sudeikis) meet at a support group in New York (“What’s a nice girl like you doing at a sex addicts meeting?”). A spark resurfaces, but they’ve walked this road before. Abject failures in romance who lead lives of serial infidelity and self-sabotage, they agree to a platonic friendship to mutually support their recovery—and what’s more supportive than teaching your friend proper self-stimulation? Can love bloom while you’re sleeping with other people?

Sleeping with Other People opens August 21st, co-starring Amanda Peet, Adam Scott, Natasha Lyonne, and Jason Mantzoukas.
