CBS' Supergirl isn't wasting any time in revealing one its most intriguing characters. Recently it was learned that Iddo Goldberg had joined the cast in the dual role of Dr. T.O. Morrow and his android creation, Red Tornado, the latter one of DC Comics' major heroes and a member of the Justice League. Now they've released the first image of the character, and he looks a lot like the Vision from Avengers: Age of Ultron....only a bit sillier if that's even possible.
Moving away from the character's comic book design, this version of Red Tornado is more of a burgundy than an actual red, and he seems to be made out of stretched burlap than any kind of recognizable metal. It's not the most appealing look, honestly, but maybe it will look better in motion. These still photographs can be misleading. Here's the character's official description:
The most advanced android the world has ever seen. Designed by scientist T.O. Morrow for the U.S. Army as the ultimate superweapon, he soon becomes sentient, posing a grave danger to National City — including the people Supergirl cares about most.
