Marvel Developing 'Damage Control' Workplace Comedy

Superheroes are cool and all, but what about the men and women who have to clean up after them? Well, they probably aren't so cool but Marvel is hoping you'll at least find them funny. According to Deadline, Marvel is developing a workplace comedy for ABC that will center on Damage Control, the clean up crew of the Marvel Universe.

The single-camera comedy is being developed by Ben Karlin, an exec-producer on The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Damage Control was introduced in 1988 and basically they're a construction company that repairs all of the damage caused by super-brawls. The Hulk just destroyed your office building? Well, Damage Control will help get you up and running again. Your pet get vaporized or sent to some far off land by a supervillain? They'll help track it down. They get really busy every time the Hulk is in town. While mostly made up of normal men and women, they've employed a few superheroes such as Hercules, Speedball, and Eric O'Grady who was one of the men to wear the Ant-Man suit.

If this sounds familiar it's because DC has a similar sitcom titled Powerless headed to NBC.
