Four 'Ghostbusters' Character Posters Show Off The All-Female Team

Who ya gonna call? Not your average Ghostbusters, that's who. Paul Feig's film boasts a brand new cast of funny ladies; Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, and after the first official photo dropped yesterday, four new character posters show they ain't afraid of no ghosts!

The new posters, done in stark black and white, are grittier than what we would expect from the comedy relaunch. But Feig says his cast was ready for pretty much anything, telling EW...

“They are four incredibly talented women, each with a unique voice and style of comedy. The fact that they meshed so well and complemented each other so well made this team of paranormal warriors a very interesting and fully-rounded group. The funniest people who come from sketch, stand-up, or just comedy, in general, work well together because the good ones know they are only as good as those they are playing off, against, and with. The set was a fun, supportive and creatively fertile environment.”

Dan Akroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts from the original movie will be turning up for cameos. While they aren't expected to be in their former roles, there's enough secrecy around the film we could be in for a surprise.  Ghostbusters hits theaters July 15th 2016, and we can probably expect a trailer very soon.
