If we use Marlon Wayans' most recent horror parodies, A Haunted House and A Haunted House 2, as an indicator then there's little promise in Fifty Shades of Black. As you probably guessed by the title, it's a Fifty Shades of Grey spoof primarily but includes riffs on everything from Magic Mike XXL to...well, stuff that was outdated years ago.
The latest red band trailer is exactly what you would expect. Big, broad, raunchy humor in the Wayans style. Want to watch Wayans screw a keyhole? Here ya go. The cast includes Kali Hawk, Mike Epps, Andrew Bachelor, Affion Crockett, Jane Seymour, and Fred Willard. These movies don't cost much and tend to make money, so as long as people keep paying for them Wayans will keep making them.
Fifty Shades of Black opens January 29th 2016.
