Geek Outrage As 'Daredevil' Season 2 May Debut Same Day As 'Batman v Superman'

Want to know who really thinks there is a war going on between Marvel and Warner Bros. superhero movies? People with enough time on their hands to worry about dumb stuff like that, because the two companies don't give a crap as long as they're making money, which they both are hand-over-fist. So today's latest episode of fanboy outrage should be taken in full context, because things aren't always as they seem.

So the latest rumor is that Marvel is debuting the second season of Daredevil on March 25th 2016. That date sound familiar? It should, because it's the day Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice opens. Wha!?!? Superman Smash!!!!  The reaction on the Internet has been nothing short of geek eyes glowing red like Supes' heat vision, but chill out and think about this for a second.

First of all, anyone who decides they'd rather binge watch Daredevil than go see Batman v Superman still has....oh, weeks to pay for the movie. Heck, they could still go see it that very weekend if they wanted to. Nothing is preventing them from doing so. Duh. On the flip side, if they go see the movie first, maybe even at a late night preview, they have all the time time in the world to take in the series at their own speed.

Frankly, this whole thing is silly. Now, if you want to see real conflict between Marvel and Warner Bros. think back to when Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman were both slated for May 6th. Remember that? Fun times. Relax, folks. It may not even happen. [Comicbook]
