As it stands right now, Star Wars: The Force Awakens has earned a Jabba-sized $2.04B at the box office after eleven weeks in theaters. As the third highest-grossing movie ever, it's certainly made the bean counters at Disney smile all the way to their mouse ears. And yet it's only the start of the cash J.J. Abrams' film will reel in, because the big bucks come with the home release, and now we're getting some details on it.
While we still don't have a firm release date, Stitch Kingdom has revealed the Blu-Ray cover art, featuring everyone's favorite roly-poly droid, BB-8. They also have details on the special features, which are pretty standard for the most part; deleted scenes, a featurette on composer John Williams, and more. If there's one feature that could be really cool it's the cast table read of the script.
Look, chances are this is just one of MANY versions of the film Disney will release, each with more and more features. But if you're like me, waiting is not an option and you'll want to pre-order it here now. Check out the cover and special features below.
