A couple of years ago Scott Cooper (Crazy Heart) was set to direct a film based on the heroic Granite Mountain Hotshots, the team of Arizona firefighters who in 2013 battled the Yarnell Hill wildfire, suffering incredible losses in the process. That film never got off the ground, but it's been revived with a brand new director and a pair of A-list stars in Josh Brolin and Miles Teller.
Tron: Legacy and Oblivion director Joseph Kosinski will step behind the camera for what is now titled No Exit, with Brolin and Teller set to star. Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down) wrote the script which centers on Prescott Arizona Fire Department's Granite Mountain Hotshots, who lost every member of their 20-man crew but one in the June 30th, 2013 blaze at Yarnell Hill.
No word on when cameras will roll on this, or if lone survivor Brendan McDonough will be on board to consult, as he was expected to do for the previous incarnation.
