Tony Revolori Lands Dope Role In 'Spider-Man: Homecoming'
Since we know the focus of Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Homecoming will be on Peter Parker's high school experiences, it stands to reason there will be a few students who like him...and perhaps some that don't. With Michael Keaton set to possibly play the Vulture, now come word that The Grand Budapest Hotel and Dope star Tony Revolori is joining the film as another of Parker's foes.
Revolori will play a schoolyard nemesis to Parker, so he's not expected to be a supervillain or one of Spider-Man's many rogues. Also joining the cast in a "significant" role is Laura Harrier (One Life to Live), making her the second school-aged actress in the film along with Zendaya Coleman. Call me crazy, but I'm guessing there will be all kinds of romantic entanglements. Probably not for Aunt May, though, even with Marisa Tomei making her the most dateable Aunt May ever.
Tom Holland makes his debut as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in next month's Captain America: Civil War, followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7th 2017. [Deadline/TheWrap]
