Despite Ghostbusters featuring the reliably funny pairing of director Paul Feig and Melissa McCarthy, along with other talented ladies Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon, there isn't a lot of love out there for the franchise reboot. The trailer has the most dislikes in Youtube history, and Feig drew the ire of many by calling geek culture the home to some of the biggest assholes" he's ever met. Feig has since walked that back, but has the damage already been done? Well, let's see how many dislikes the latest trailer gets.
McCarthy, Wiig, Jones, and McKinnon suit up for paranormal action, and again it looks like an interesting mix of laughs and scares. The original Ghostbusters wasn't particularly dark but it seems like Feig is looking to add a little bit of that to his revamp. That said, there are still some funny moments here, especially with Chris Hemsworth as the team's secretary. It looks like his role is going to be bigger than once thought. Also, look out for a very familiar, and very green ghost who makes his return.
