Trailer For Newly Restored 'Predator' Gets Dug In Like An Alabama Tick
Did you know there was a brand new restoration of John McTiernan's awesomely muscular 1987 classic Predator on the way? It's okay if you didn't because as of right now it's only opening in France, which seems a particular injustice given that it's one of the greatest American action movies ever made, and I think Arnold Schwarzenegger's best movie ever. Yeah, it's better than Terminator. Damn right it is.
A trailer for the restoration is here and it teases the testosterone-fueled violence nicely. You'll see the Governator, Jesse "The Body" Ventura back when he was a kickass actor (he was just as badass in The Running Man), Carl Weathers, Bill Duke, and even Shane Black, who famously worked the angles to get in front of the camera as well as perform some script rewrites. He's taking the helm for a new Predator reboot/sequel and he's got some heavy shoes to fill.
So check out the trailer below, and maybe consider heading over to France on August 17th.
