'X-Men' Breakouts Brianna Hildebrand And Alexandra Shipp Are 'Tragedy Girls'

It's a whole new era over at Fox's X-Men universe, and for proof you need look no further than Brianna Hildebrand and Alexandra Shipp. Hildebrand played the awesomely disaffected Negasonic Teenage Warhead in Deadpool, while Shipp took over the role of Storm in X-Men: Apocalypse. Both are likely to return in future X-flicks, but before that they'll stop team up for the horror comedy, Tragedy Girls

According to The Tracking Board (so judge accordingly), Hildebrand and Shipp will join Craig Robinson (Morris from America) in the film directed and co-written by Tyler MacIntyre. The ladies will play "two death-obsessed teenage girls who use their online show about real-life tragedies to send their small Midwestern town into a frenzy and cement their legacy as modern horror legends." Sounds right up MacIntyre's alley since he previously directed Patchwork, a Frankenstein-esque horror that won Best Picture at Screamfest.

No word on when filming will begin, but this sounds a pretty good way to kill the time before they go back to fighting for Professor X's dream of peaceful coexistence.
