Dwayne Johnson Introduces The "Jumanji Juniors" Including Alex Wolff

Now that the controversy surrounding Karen Gillan's jungle-wear in Jumanji has died down a little, it's time to get back to some good old fashioned casting news. And actually, this update kind of reflects on that situation a little, because it appears the new additions are playing younger versions of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Gillan.

Johnson revealed via Instagram what he calls the "Jumanji Juniors" (hint hint), consisting of Alex Wolff (Coming Through the Rye),  Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, and Morgan Turner. From the sound of it, the adults are actually the avatars of these kids who are playing the titular game, which explains why they are all archetypes with names like Dr. Smolder Bravestone (Johnson), Moose Finbar (Hart), Ruby Roundhouse (Gillan) and Professor Shelly Oberon (Black).

Directed by Jake Kasdan, Jumanji is filming now and opens July 28th 2017.
