Isabelle Huppert Embraces Her Freedom In New Trailer For 'Things To Come'
Isabelle Huppert is already amazing and has had a tremendous career, but 2016 is shaping up to be one of her best. She's practically a lock to be a major awards season factor for her performance in Paul Verhoeven's Elle, but flying a little bit under the radar is Mia Hansen-Løve‘s Things to Come, which has just debuted a new trailer.
And it's easy to see why this quiet little film isn't getting a ton of attention yet. The low-wattage drama has Huppert starring as a middle-aged philosophy teacher who must reevaluate her life when her husband of 25 years suddenly leaves for another woman. How does one start over again so late in life? Judging by this it's by embracing the newfound freedom.
Things to Come opens December 2nd.
