The Fast and the Furious may be where Vin Diesel's bread is buttered, but he's got other franchises that are truly all to himself. Ironically, one of those is XXX, the extreme spy flick that saw him replaced by Ice Cube for the 2005 sequel. That film bombed without Diesel in it, and now more than a decade later he's back and ready to do ridiculously insane stunts again. So if you always wanted to see Diesel ski his way through a jungle (???) then the trailer for XXX: Return of Xander Cage is here to fill that need.
Diesel is joined by Samuel L. Jackson, the only one who has been there since the beginning, along with Toni Collette, Donnie Yen, Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Nicky Jam, Deepika Padukone, and Tony Jaa in a film that promises to not make you think too much about the plot. That's probably a good thing since the last time we saw Xander Cage he was getting killed off, and who knows what kind of logical gymnastics they'll go through to explain that away.
