While it may be billed as the "all-female" Ocean's Eleven spinoff, or just Ocean's Eight, there will be a handful of dudes running around. There's the possibility of George Clooney reprising his prior role as Danny Ocean, and we know Matt Damon is returning for a cameo as pickpocket Linus Caldwell. And now the film's villain will find the ladies trying to rob Homeland's Damian Lewis.
Variety reports Lewis will play the bad guy, an ex-lover of Sandra Bullock's character and the apparent target of her scorn. Bullock will lead a cast that includes Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Awkwafina, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter, and Sarah Paulson as they try to pull of a major heist that will hurt Lewis' character. Previous reports had them trying to steal a necklace from the Met Ball, but it's unclear what his connection to that crime will be. Maybe he's like the head of security there or something?
