This week Supergirl wrapped up their second season. The showdown between Supergirl and Rhea, Queen of the Daxamites as for the fate of all in National City thanks to the Daxamite invasion, was a worthy conclusion to the second season of the superhero show. We’ll go more in depth later on this week in our weekly “This Week In DC” recap. Needless to say, the show finished strong in its second season.
Even though Supergirl is on the TV, she’s still a DC Comics characters, and there’s no harm in DC Entertainment doing a little cross-promotion for their big screen adaptations. Wonder Woman featuring Gal Gadot as the titular character and Chris Pine as Seven Trevor, hits theaters on June 2, 2017, ten days from now. The team behind Supergirl decided to pay homage to the iconic character by having the ladies of Supergirl meet up in the bar, and they all (including the OG Wonder Woman, Linda Carter, who is often a guest start on Supergirl as the President of the United States) don a little Wonder Woman gear.
