It's 7X The Noomi Rapace In First Trailer For 'Seven Sisters'

Can there ever be too much Noomi Rapace? I don't think so, but that will definitely get put to the test with Seven Sisters, which features the Swedish actress in seven roles. Pfft, Cate Blanchett does double that in Manifesto. I'm not impressed.

Formerly titled What Happened to Monday?, and directed by Dead Snow's Tommy Wirkola, the sci-fi flick follows a man who bucks his government's one-child policy by hiding his seven grandchildren, all sisters played by Rapace, who are forced to share one single identity to evade capture. Of course, this doesn't last and that's when the action ensues. It's a little bit like Orphan Black, which could prove interesting.  Willem Dafoe, Glenn Close, and Marwan Kenzari co-star.

Netflix has the rights but have yet to give it a firm date.  It opens in France on August 23rd.
