The marketing for Bong Joon-ho's Okja continues to reinforce it one of the weirdest movies of the summer. The film stars Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano, Lily Collins, Steven Yeun, Giancarlo Esposito, Jake Gyllenhaal, Byun Heebong, and An Seo Hyun, and in the latest batch of character posters we see them all cut up like slabs of beef in a butcher shop.
What's the deal? The film centers on a young girl who must protect her friend Okja, an environmentally-safe "super pig" from being captured by an evil corporation and, likely, portioned into cans like tuna. Each image gives us a clue as to the character's personality, like Swinton's crooked CEO Lucy Mirando, who is described as a "butcher", "savior", "sociopath", "visionary", and more.
Okja hits Netflix on June 28th.
