Justin Long Can't Get Over Cobie Smulders In Trailer For 'Literally, Right Before Aaron'
After a brief flirtation with mainstream movies, Justin Long has settled into a long-standing indie groove. And basically, his roles come in two flavors: manic over-the-top supporting character or unlucky-in-love dude. Usually the latter. That's certainly the case for the poorly-named Literally, Right Before Aaron, which finds Long doing what all of Cobie Smulers's exes are probably doing: pining after her.
Marking the directorial debut of The Blacklist actor Ryan Eggold, the film stars Long as a guy who is still reeling over his breakup with Smulders's character, only to learn that she is already engaged to another man. Worse, he's invited to the wedding and, like an idiot, decides to attend. It forces him to come to terms with his feelings for her and about his own future. Kristen Schaal, John Cho, Peter Gallagher, Charlotte McKinney, Charlyne Yi, Ryan Hansen, Dana Delaney, Lea Thompson, and Luis Guzman make a strange but kinda intriguing cast. This trailer, on the other hand, is not intriguing at all and I hate seeing Cho in just another best friend role after he was so great leading Columbus.
Literally, Right Before Aaron hits theaters and VOD on September 29th.
