The Hoff Gets Down With The Guardians Of The Galaxy In Trippy "Inferno' Music Video
We argue a lot about the differences between Warner Bros. and Marvel; well, here's one. When Marvel wants to have fun with their audience I don't know if any studio does it better. It could be with a clever, patience-testing post-credits scene that upends our expectations, or it could be with an awesome disco music video for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
James Gunn has been chatting up a big reveal to coincide with the film's Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital release, but I don't think anybody expected this. Remember the trippy disco soundtrack over the film's closing credits? Well, now you can get down "Guardians Inferno", a psychedelic dance track from The Peepers and Zardu Hasselfrau...er, excuse me, some guy named David Hasselhoff. I don't know if anybody could have been more at home here than The Hoff. The video includes appearances by Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Sean Gunn, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, Chris Pratt, and a cameo that makes perfect sense but I won't spoil.
Now excuse me while I watch Gillan shake her groove thang on a loop.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits digital release tomorrow, Blu-Ray/DVD on August 22nd.
