Even when one of the Marvel comics movies sucks, you can almost always expect something cool after the closing credits. Ever since Jon Favreau first did it after Iron Man, it's become engrained our heads to not leave our seats the lights have gone up and somebody starts sweeping up popcorn. For that reason alone, Marvel deserves credit for changing the way we watch any potential franchise film, especially when capes and superpowers are involved. As has been rumored for quite some time, the post-credits sequence after Captain American: The First Avenger would be some sort of lead in to The Avengers, the Joss Whedon team-up flick due out next year. And now today, courtesy of our friends at BleedingCool who first spotted it, we have a leaked version of that sequence now. Enjoy it while you can, it probably won't be up long!
The Avengers: Teaser trailer 2011 (LQ) by JenovaDurango
Yep, it's a trailer for The Avengers, featuring all the characters we've grown to know and love: Thor, Nick Fury, Iron Man, Hulk, and even Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye. The quality of the video stinks, but what'd you expect? With Comic-Con right around the corner we'll be getting this trailer in high quality very soon, along with some other goodies I'm sure.
Captain America: The First Avenger hits theaters this Friday!
