3. Project X
The first of two movies on the chart featuring the writing of Michael Bacall, Project X takes every parent's worst fears over what happens when they aren't home and put them on the big screen for all to see. Unfortunately some teens were so inspired by the film's midget roasting, neighborhood burning antics that they've tried to emulate it with disastrous results. Hopefully people will be a tad bit smarter when the sequel arrives in a couple years.
2. Friends with Kids
Likely to be the closest thing you'll get to a Bridesmaids reunion is Friends with Kids, Jennifer Westfeldt's smart new comedy about love and parenting in today's fast paced world. Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, and Chris O'Dowd co-star along with Megan Fox and Adam Scott.
1. 21 Jump Street
Nobody would have, or even could have predicted that Jonah Hill and screenwriter Michael Bacall could find comedy gold by revisiting 1980s cop staple, 21 Jump Street, and yet that's exactly what they've done. With a combination of nostalgia, poking fun at buddy cop movie tropes, and some genuinely insightful ideas on modern high school culture, the film is a modern day comedy right up there with Superbad, Knocked Up, and The 40 Year Old Virgin. Hop on over to see 21 Jump Street right now!

Alexander Payne's long awaited return was not only the best film of last year, George Clooney gives a tour de force performance surpassing even his Up in the Air. Turning down his celebrity glamour a few notches, Clooney plays Matt King, a wealthy real estate magnate forced to juggle his responsibilities to his two rebellious daughters and to the pristine Hawaiian islands when his wife suffers a tragic accident
