Michael Emerson from 'Lost' joins Woody Allen's untitled next film

Michael Emerson. Chances are you probably don't recognize that name unless you're the most die hard of Lost fans. I doubt even those who watch Person of Interest on CBS would recognize it. No, to most people, Emerson will now and forever be known as the disturbing Ben Linus, who played every angle of every situation for years on Lost to tremendous effect. Now we'll get to see him...eh, possibly do something different as a part of Woody Allen's upcoming film.

We still don't know anything about what the story will entail, but we do know the partial make up of the cast, and it's typically strong for any movie by the legendary director. Bradley Cooper, Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin, Sally Hawkins, and Bobby Cannavale will also be a part of it. Hopefully Emerson isn't trying to kill anybody in it? I mean it could be Match Point 2 or something and we not know anything about it. All we really have are a couple of vague descriptions of the Blanchett and Hawkins characters.

Shooting takes place this summer in San Francisco and New York City. [Deadline]
