Just in case the first red band trailer for That's My Boy didn't convince you to check out Adam Sandler's first R-rated comedy in sixteen years, Columbia Pictures has released a second, even dirtier one. This one focuses on bachelor party that goes wildly out of control, and is funny enough to have me thinking this might not be the total train wreck it's appeared to be.
Sandler plays Donny, an immature man-child who fathered a son while he was a teenager. Naming him Han Solo, Donny took care of him as a single parent until the boy turned 18. Now twenty years later, Donny owes thousands of dollars to the IRS, and turns up unexpectedly on the weekend of his son's wedding to ask for some cash. Not having seen one another in twenty years, things don't go quite as planned as Donny's influence on his son could jeopardize the upcoming nuptials. Leighton Meester, James Caan, Eva Amurri, Will Forte, Milo Ventimiglia, Susan Sarandon, and Rex Ryan(!!!) co-star, with Sean Anders directing.
