Trailer Time: 'House at the End of the Street', starring Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thierot
We can be honest here, can't we? The only memorable thing about the first trailer for House at the End of the Street was Jennifer Lawrence's boobies poppin' out of her tank top. It'll probably be the best thing about the entire movie, so I'm a little disappointed we don't get nearly enough of that in the latest trailer.
Released only because Jennifer Lawrence is popular enough to have her name exploited all to Hell, this crap looking horror centers on a mother(Elisabeth Shue) and daughter(Lawrence) who move to a new neighborhood, and into a new home. Turns out their fresh crib was once the site where a family was brutally murdered by their daughter. Max Thierot plays the cute but tortured boy and possible lone survivor of the killings, although rumors persist that his murderous sister may still be lurking around somewhere making life miserable for everybody.
Up to this point, Lawrence has managed to stick to high quality films even outside of The Hunger Games and X-men: First Class. This film may put that streak to an end. We'll find out when House at the End of the Street opens on September 21st....
