As we get nearer to the Christmas Day release of Django Unchained, the marketing boys over at The Winstein Company have been doing a bang-up job on the hype machine, as if Quentin Tarantino really needs it. Yesterday's trailer was one of the best yet, putting a heavy emphasis on Christopher Waltz's character, Dr. King Schultz. Hot on the heels of that comes a new poster that is equally great, even if it's just taking a couple of still photos we've previously seen and mashing them together. Very cool.

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award(R)-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award(R)-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles–dead or alive.
