Saoirse Ronan has seen her name attached to pretty much every major studio project in development, from The Avengers: Age of Ultron to Star Wars: Episode VII to Fantastic Four. She probably won't be in any of them when all is said and done, but she's still keeping busy by joining the cast of indie drama Stockholm, Pennsylvania.
Ronan will star alongside Miranda....um, Cynthia Nixon, and Jason Isaacs in the story of "developmentally stunted Leia, a young woman raised by a kidnapper who now struggles to acclimate to her actual parents after 20 years of separation." Nixon will play her mother who is desperately trying to win back her daughter's love, while Isaacs is the kidnapper because he's always the bad guy.
Nikole Beckwith will make her writing and directing debut when production gears up next week. [Deadline]
