First Clip from Marvel's 'Ant-Man', Plus Vision Revealed in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' Footage
Summer time is here and at this point we might as well rename it "Marvel Season". They have two major films arriving in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man, and today brings new and very revealing clips for both.
Paul Rudd dropped by David Letterman's show and brought with him the first clip from Ant-Man. Rudd stars as Scott Lang , a thief working with scientist Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to guard the secrets of the super suit that allows him to shrink in mass but gain incredible strength and speed. In this scene, which must come from early on, we see Lang breaking in to a facility to steal the suit, and it sounds like Michael Pena's character is joining in on the theft. Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed and opens July 17th.
Ant-Man comes a couple of months after Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will see the debut of Paul Bettany as the android Vision. Bettany had previously voiced Tony Stark's A.I., JARVIS, but things have changed since Iron Man's latest invention turned to the dark side. This scene shows what appears to be Vision's first appearance, so if you don't want to learn too much about the film then turn away now. Bettany debuted the footage on The One Show which is why he can be heard talking over some of it. Avengers: Age of Ultron opens May 1st!
