We're happy to offer our DC readers a chance to attend a free advance screening of Freeheld, the gay rights drama starring Ellen Page, Julianne Moore, Michael Shannon, and Steve Carell. The film is based on the remarkable true story of New Jersey police lieutenant, Laurel Hester, and her registered domestic partner, Stacie Andree, as both battle to secure Hester's pension benefits when she is diagnosed with terminal cancer.
