Vampires, Humans, and Zombies Battle Aliens in the 'Freaks of Nature' Red Band Trailer

A few years ago Jonah Hill was looking to make his directorial debut on a wild-sounding horror/comedy titled The Kitchen Sink, a film that would mash-up zombies, vampires, space aliens, and...well, the whole kitchen sink. But then he got an Oscar nomination, his career went all dramatic and stuff, and he dropped out of the project. It went on without him, adding a totally random cast and a lesser-known director in Robbie Pickering (Natural Selection), and now the bonkers first trailer for it has been released.

Now titled Freaks of Nature, the film's cast includes Mackenzie Davis (The Martian), Ed Westwick, Vanessa Hudgens, Keegan-Michael Key, Patton Oswalt, Nicholas Braun, Joan Cusack,, Bob Odenkirk, Denis Leary, and more. Ever wanted to see vampires, zombies, and humans team-up to stop an alien invasion? This film is for you. Here's the synopsis:

In Freaks of Nature, we welcome you to Dillford, where three days ago, everything was peaceful and business as usual: the vampires were at the top of the social order, the zombies were at the bottom, and the humans were getting along in the middle.  But this delicate balance was ripped apart when the alien apocalypse arrived in Dillford and put an end to all the harmony. Now it's humans vs. vampires vs. zombies in all-out, blood-sucking, brain-eating, vamp-staking mortal combat – and all of them are on the run from the aliens.  It is up to three teenagers – one human, one vampire, and one zombie – to team up, figure out how to get rid of the interplanetary visitors, and try to restore order to this "normal" little town.

Freaks of Nature opens on October 30th.
