The Mystery Deepens In New '10 Cloverfield Lane' Trailer
J.J. Abrams and Paramount have landed on a pretty good way to sell the mystery of 10 Cloverfield Lane to the biggest, most accepting audience of all, and that's debut a new spot during the premiere of AMC's The Walking Dead. The film was shot under the titles of The Cellar and Valencia only to evolve into a Cloverfield "sequel", but as of now we don't know whether it's a true monster movie or just a psychological character piece. Could go either way.
Dan Trachtenberg makes his directorial debut on the Abrams-produced film which stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, John Goodman, and John Gallagher Jr. Goodman plays a survivalist keeping Winstead's character in his underground bunker, claiming it's to keep her safe. But is that the truth? Or does he have different plans for her?
10 Cloverfield Lane opens March 11th.
