While Lily-Rose Depp is just beginning her acting career, there's no better way to leap forward than by starring alongside an Oscar winner like Natalie Portman. The Tusk and Yoga Hosers star joins Portman in the French drama, Planetarium, from Grand Central director Rebecca Zlotkowski and producers the Dardenne Brothers.
And perhaps it's the Dardenne influence that we see most in this new trailer which features French subtitles for all of the English dialogue. Depp and Portman play American sisters who work as supernatural mediums in 1930s Paris, eventually crossing paths with a movie producer. Emmanuel Salinger, Amira Casar, Pierre Salvadori, and Louis Garrel are part of the drama's ensemble.
Planetarium has yet to gain U.S. distribution but opens in France on November 16th. Assuming it has successful screenings at TIFF and Venice we should see it on our shores soon.
