* Four more nameless Tributes have been cast by mostly nameless young actors in The Hunger Games. Hey, there's enough excitement over this film that any one of these folks could use this as a springboard to bigger projects. Sam Ly and Leigha Hancock will play the District 7 Tributes, while Samuel Tan and Mackenzie Lintz will represent District 8. Don't look at me that way, I don't know who these people are, either! Mercifully we're down to only six Tributes left to cast. Still no word on the possible signing of Lenny Kravitz, Woody Harrelson, and Stanley Tucci.
* Speaking of movies with a seemingly endless amount of roles to fill, here comes Adam Shankman's musical, Rock of Ages, built around classic 80s rock jams. When Amy Adams took the Lois Lane gig in Man of Steel, that left her role as Constance in the film wide open. And so here comes Malin Akerman(Watchmen) to fill the void. The rocker currently has an impressive cast including Tom Cruise, Mary J. Blige, Alec Baldwin, Bryan Cranston, Diego Boneta, Julianne Hough, Catherinze Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, and Russell Brand.
* So his career hasn't been quite as prolific as it was back in the 90s, but Bokeem Woodbine has been kickin' around pretty steadily for years ever since he first debuted in 1993's Strapped(so underrated!!). He appeared last year in M. Night Shymalan's horror, Devil, and now he's set to play Colin Farrell's best buddy in Len Wiseman's Total Recall remake.
