Looking like Chloe Moretz's Hounddog movie(look it up), Hick debuted at last year's Toronto Film Festival to mixed reviews and the promise of an awkward marketing campaign. Directed by Derick Martini(Lymelife), the film has Moretz playing small town Nebraska girl who runs away from her alcoholic parents to hitchhike to Las Vegas. There she commits armed robberies with a sexy, drug addicted criminal(Blake Lively), and is pursued by a creepy drifter(Eddie Redmayne) with ulterior motives that might just be sexual in nature.
A new poster for the film has been released ahead of the planned May 11th release, featuring Moretz and the trusty pistol she carries on her cross country journey. From colleagues I know who have seen it, they say some of the sexual and physical turmoil experienced by Moretz's character is tough to watch. Check out a clip of Hick below....
