Jon Bernthal the latest to join 'The Wolf of Wall Street'

Hey, things have been looking up for Jon Bernthal ever since his sh*t starting Shane character got whacked from The Walking Dead. He's got a role in the Jackie Robinson biopic, 42, and also plays a part in the Dwayne Johnson-starring crime flick, Snitch. Not to mention he'll follow Frank Darabont over to LA Noir, the upcoming TNT series. Next up for Bernthal on his apparent rise to fame? Chillin' with Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Bernthal is the latest to join The Wolf of Wall Street, adding to a flurry of activity that has seen Jean Dujardin(The Artist), Margot Robbie, and Cristin Milioti  coming aboard in the last few days. Also starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Kyle Chandler, and Jonah Hill, the film tells the true story of Jordan Belfort, a fast living, hard partying New York stockbroker who saw his life spiral out of control. Bernthal will play a drug dealing money launderer in the Terence Winter-scripted drama.

Production on The Wolf of Wall Street kicks off towards the tail end of summer in New York. [Deadline]
