With yesterday's announcement that model Clara Paget had joined the cast of Fast Six, today comes word that another relatively new face face will coming aboard. Joe Taslim, who played Sgt. Jaka in the awesome martial arts flick, The Raid, will be putting his skills to the test squaring off against Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, and Paul Walker.
Taslim will play Jah, a cold-blooded killer likely under the employ of Luke Evans' character, and part of a rival crew that is muscling their way in on a major European heist. Taslim will be bringing his fighting and parkour ability to the role, making this his best American exposure yet. He was pretty bad ass in The Raid, and I think showed the sort of personality and look that could make him a crossover star.
Justin Lin is currently filming Fast Six(or whatever the title will be) for release on May 24th 2013. [Variety]
