Want to know why Queen Elizabeth looked so friggin' bored during tonight's opening ceremonies of the London Olympics? Because she was escorted by James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, and parachuted out of a moving helicopter. Not even that nonsensical, feverish spectacle Danny Boyle put together could possibly compete.
You can see the Queen's little adventure in the below film, Happy and Glourious, which shows her and Craig taking an exhilarating whirlwind aerial tour of London and some of its most recognizable landmarks. It's a beautiful and clever little film that Boyle shot a few months ago, but if you saw how tired and disinterested the Queen looked during the ceremony, you'd think she had just touched ground. Seriously, somebody get Queenie a spot of tea or something. Or some smelling salts....
