Well, I've already complained about how scary I found the Paranormal Activity films when the teaser trailer for Paranormal Activity 4 debuted a few days ago, but now, after watching the full trailer (and looking over the official poster, above) I'm not so sure anymore. I mean, check it out for yourself, but the 1:47 running time of this new trailer just makes think, "Shrug. Oh, so this again? Oh, OK."
Maybe that's too blase, but Paranormal Activity 4 - which will be set in November 2011, based on the date of the "found footage" featured in the trailer - isn't doing itself any favors here. The trailer promises the return of the missing Katie and the baby nephew she stole, but for some reason they're haunting or terrorizing or just plain old bothering some young blonde teen who just wants to Skype with her friends on the Internet, dammit! And these paranormal forces just keep getting in the way! Can't anyone let her go online in peace?
No joke, that's how silly Paranormal Activity 4 looks. Like ... real silly. The film drops Oct. 19, 2012, and click through for the trailer!
