The end is near for the Resident Evil series, at least if we're to buy into what franchise star Milla Jojovich has said in the past. This September brings Resident Evil: Retribution, the fifth film in Alice's quest to bring down the evil Umbrella Corporation and their plans to infect the entire world with a zombie virus. If this is truly the penultimate chapter, Jojovich and her husband, director Paul W. S. Anderson must have something big up their sleeves.
But one thing's for sure, and it's that the Resident Evil movies have become a little convoluted and confusing. Fortunately, Screen Gems has released a brand new featurette chronicling Alice's story up to this point, starting with her very first run in with Umbrella, and highlighting many of her butt kicking exploits. Let's face it, the only reason these movies continue to do as well as they have is because of how sexy and bad ass Jojovich is, and they could probably go on forever as long as she's physically capable.
Sending Alice on a global quest that takes her to Tokyo, to Moscow, to Washington DC, Resident Evil: Retribution sees the return of some familiar faces and old enemies.
