Bill Murray and Angela Lansbury confirmed for Wes Anderson's 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'

Wes Anderson has never had much trouble getting pretty much whoever he wants to star in his films, and after the success of his greatly entertaining and successful Moonrise Kingdom, it's only gotten easier. Anderson's been figuring out the cast for his next quirky ensemble, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and we learned he was aiming for even bigger names this time. Johnny Depp came aboard the film back in July, joining Owen Wilson, Jude Law, and Edward Norton.  Now two more Anderson was targeting are on board as Bill Murray and Angela Lansbury confirmed their participation.

Murray's participation seems like a no-brainer at this point considering his long history with Anderson. He revealed to Vulture that he'll be heading up to Germany to shoot his scenes, while Lansbury talked a bit more about her role. The Murder She Wrote star told UK Magazine The Gentle Woman that she would only be on screen for about five minutes, and playing a "woman of mystery". As vague as that is, it's the most we've learned about the plot so far other than that a psychic may be involved.

There are still a few names that aren't confirmed yet, including Jeff Goldblum, Willem Dafoe, and Adrien Brody. After being in my dog house for a long time, Moonrise Kingdom has me excited to see what Anderson does next. Filming is set to begin soon for release some time n 2013.
