Damn you, Evil Dead, damn you....you could have stayed funny but nooooo. It seems every time a new version of this trailer comes out I always end up getting stuck watching it by myself and honestly I don't think my heart can take much more. I will freely admit that my love of horror comes from my weird ability to forget that they are fake in the midst of walking to my car alone at night or after waking up for no reason at 3am. I have news for you tough guys out there...you will be able to unleash your inner sissy girl when this flick hits theaters.
The green band, or safe for work version, of the horror classic redux (or really re-redux if you consider that Evil Dead 2 was more or less a remake) proves that blood and gore do not a scary movie make. The red band trailer was far more gross, but this version is more effective in a way. I think the fright it delivers is mostly due to the way Mia delivers her lines. Check it out below and let us know is I'm alone in thinking that this may just be a truly frightening film.
